Joanna Cotten Showcase

Last night (Sept 24, 2007) a small group was treated to a Joanna Cotten Showcase at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. If you haven't heard of Joanna yet, you will soon. Warner Bros signed her recently.

The showcase was a pleasant surprise. Joanna sang her heart out and she introduced us to "Funkabilly". Great beat combined with her vocals.

A DVD of a few of her performances was availble as well as a bio with pictures.

New Mexico

Spent the last weekend in New Mexico.

Had a great time.
Some of the highlights:
Valles Caldera.
It's an amazing place to see, and learn the the history.

Did a short hike in the Los Conchas trail, great path along the Jemez River.
