John Easdale from Dramarama on Ellen DeGeneres

We have word from Richard Morales over at Hothouse Studios that John Easdale from Dramarama will be on the Ellen DeGeneres show this Thursday, Jan 24th, 2008.

Apparently it is Ellen's Birthday and one of her favorite songs is "Anything, Anything" by Dramarama.

Be sure to check it out.

Here's the video of the performance. We are so proud of John Easdale for a fine performance and to Ellen DeGeneres for being a fan of Dramarama!

Yes. You are correct. I updated the post and added a link to the video. What did you think of the performance?

I liked seeing them on national television again; it's been way too long. However, my friend Glenn said it best:

It was great to see the boys on national TV again!!  They looked great and sounded great, but they were definitely a bit more reserved than if they were playing their own gig at the Surf Club or anything like that.  Mike Davis (bass player in red shirt - ed.) didn't even jump around!  LOL  The acoustics seemed a bit restrained, at least compared to a typical live performance, but i'm not complaining.  I think the expressions on Ellen's face proved that she truly is a genuine fan and was blown away by the experience.  She was like a giddy little school girl, not a 50 year old woman!  I caught a few other audience members singing along, at least on the chorus.  Hopefully this will spark more national interest in one of the greatest unsung bands of all time....
