Hawking at Caltech over 2000 people
So I was wrong there was well over 2000 people in line last Wednesday to see Stephen Hawking.

Stephen Hawking - wow over 1000 people in line
So last night April 9, 2008, the line at Caltech wound around the campus with over 1000 people waiting to catch Stephen Hawking in one of the two auditoriums setup or sit outside around the Beckman and just listen to Hawking.
We waiting in line from around 6:30 and did not make it, short by about 50-75 people from getting into the Ramo.
Would be great if Caltech could also webcast the event. I would be happy sitting home and watching it over the net.
I'll try again next year.

Stephen Hawking - Out of a Black Hole coming to Caltech
Stephen Hawking is coming to Caltech April 9, 2008.
8pm in the Beckman Auditorium. Expect this to be PACKED!
Caltech is opening up to about 870 seats, that may not be enough.
No tickets required, get there early, first come, first served.
