Geni new features still beta

From Ben at SOCALTECH:

Geni Rolls New Features
----
Los Angeles-based, Web 2.0 geneaology website Geni has rolled out a number of new features to the firm's web site, the company told its users Thursday. Geni said it has added features to allow people to identify people in photos, create custom invitation templates, show family history timelines, merge family tree nodes, created a new "Family Forest" feature, and more. The "Family Forest" feature allows users to view not only blood relatives, but also spouses and partners. The firm's new "Family Timeline"
show significant events in a family history. Finally, the firm said it has added better support for its international users. Geni--which was founded by former Paypal exec David Sacks--is venture backed by Charles River Ventures and the Founders Fund.

Geni is one of my favorite new sites. Easy name and fairly easy to use. My family is still expanding their tree. I did notice that with the new updates my tree went from 300+ people down to 130, so I'm not sure why that is. All the branches appear to be in place still.

Family Forest® is a registered trademark of Millisecond Publishing Company, Inc.

which you can see at their site at http://www.familyforest.com

That must be why Geni.com now only calls the new feature a "Forest".

Did you notice this.
