Marguerite is also the grandmother of Mara K. Benson, Ryan T. Benson, Anita McCreery, James Sellman, and the great-grandmother of Allie Benson, Jake Benson, Sophie Joughin, and Marco Benson.
Marguerite was the captain of a women's golf team at Los Altos Country Club for many years and was a champion golfer, making 4 holes in one. She was a volunteer for Larabie, worked for Los Altos library, and did many other charitable works. Since she was an animal lover, donations can be made in her name to The Animal Humane Society. A family memorial will be held in her honor in Los Altos.
