Fanprice.com Launches Ticket Exchange

SoCalTech reports:

Fanprice.com Launches Ticket Exchange
----
Fanprice.com, a new startup focused on helping fans exchange tickets, said that it has launched its services Tuesday. The firm said that it will allow fans to set the price they want to pay for tickets to sporting events, concerts, theater, and special events. The site allows users to browse for events, select a seat, and then name the price they would be willing to pay for a ticket. Sellers are then able to review and accept offers for those seats. Fanprice charges sellers a 15 percent fee for sales; there's no cost to buyers of those tickets. Fanprice.com is based in Petaluma, California, but has significant operations in Los Angeles, including executive, sales, marketing and web development teams here in the area.
