South Pasadena, CA, September 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mark your calendar and save the date. The Mission West Fall Street Art Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary and guarantees visitors an exciting eclectic mix of art, food, fun and live entertainment in South Pasadena Mission West District. The weekend festivities are set for September 20 and 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., starting at the Gold Line (Meridian Avenue), and continuing 3 blocks east to Fremont Avenue. Admission is free and plenty of parking is available.

South Pasadena takes pride in its small town character, gracious historic homes, tree-lined streets, fine retail establishments, award-winning restaurants, and welcoming charm. Small, proud and independent, the city has battled for a hundred years to preserve its status rich history. The Mission-West District is a great place for visitor exploration "a great walking area, with lots to see and do," explains event Coordinator, Sandy Taylor of Tah Gallery.

Taylor continued, "South Pasadena is the most charming city in the San Gabriel Valley, its long history of preservation, community action and spirit, independence and leadership, and evolving diversity, make it one of the most event friendly communities in the area. This town supports events and the area businesses are a big factor in selecting a city for any event and its "win-win" attitude makes it the perfect choice for our two-day event.
