Dropbox Beta Invite

I've been accepted into the beta program for Dropbox. This site looks cool and I am excited to try it out. If you would like to try it out. It looks like I have 10 invites to send. So if you would like to try out Dropbox post a comment.

Welcome aboard

We're excited to let you know you've been selected for the Dropbox Beta. Thanks for your patience (it's been a long wait!)

We'd love for you to try it out -- just click this link to get started.
Your beta signup code is: xxxxxxx

What is Dropbox?

Dropbox is a desktop application (for Windows and Mac OS X) and storage service that just works. It's the easiest way to share and store files online and keep files in sync across your computers (quick video demo here).

Share the love

The beta is still invite-only, but we're no longer keeping the details under wraps -- and you're welcome to invite up to 10 friends to shared folders (they'll be able to download Dropbox too.)

You're also welcome (and encouraged!) to blog about your impressions, post screenshots and discuss Dropbox wherever you'd like.

Thank you

Your thoughts are always welcome. You can reach us by visiting the the beta forums after signing up or by email at beta@getdropbox.com.

Enjoy!

Hi Victor et al.

I stumbled upon your Dropbox review and like you to test NomaDesk also.
Much like Dropbox, NomaDesk allows you to drag-and-drop files into “virtual fileservers”, which remain available off-line.
Moreover, the NomaDesk virtual fileservers are password protected and 256-bit encrypted, with no limits on storage. The synchronization itself is highly optimized and truly lightening fast.
Where Dropbox creates only one shared workspace, NomaDesk allows you to create multiple virtual fileservers, each with their own contributors. And there are other features to be discovered, such as Theftguard (remote shredder), Email2Folder, FileLink,…

Clients for Mac and Linux are still in the making.

Anyway, I’d appreciate your comments.

Kind regards,

F.
